Asa was born in Ulsan - South Korea, on Valentine’s Day. To his mother, his arrival was the greatest gift of love ⸺ she often calls him her greatest love and affectionately refers to him as her valentine boy. He grew up in a fairly ordinary environment, though people around him often described him as “hard to read”.

As he got older, he became interested in fashion and modeling industry almost by accident. What started as helping at his aunt’s modeling school slowly turned into something he genuinely enjoyed. He had slowly grown to love catwalk and posing, but what he enjoyed most was watching models put in their effort and passion to achieve their dreams. Unlike the spotlight of the runway, he liked being the person who made sure everything went smoothly without needing attention.His part-time job as a rental boyfriend started unexpectedly when a friend introduced him to the service.
